The VBHI is one of the success stories to emerge from 15 years of scientific collaboration between Inria and the Bordeaux Population Health research centre. On Monday 16 November 2026, the two research centres invite you to celebrate this collaboration at a dedicated event focusing on the digital transformation of public health.

Programme

How can digital technologies advance public health research? This question will be at the heart of the event, bringing together Inria and Bordeaux Population Health.

The programme will showcase joint projects and scientific achievements, provide an opportunity to discuss the results obtained, and encourage collective reflection on future challenges and new avenues for collaboration.

Several members of the VBHI will contribute to the event: Rodolphe Thiébaut and Vianney Jouet, both members of the VBHI Executive Committee, alongside fellow VBHI members Hélène Sauzéon, Thomas Ferté, Cécile Proust-Lima, Bertrand Glize and Fabien Lotte.

Are you involved in research, healthcare, academia, public institutions or industry? Are you a student keen to learn more about these issues? This event is open to everyone interested in the links between digital technologies and public health. It is an opportunity to share perspectives, spark new ideas and work together to shape the solutions of tomorrow!
