Thomas completed his residency in Public Health, followed by a PhD in Biostatistics at Bordeaux University Hospital and the University of Bordeaux. He currently works as a methodologist within the Methodological Support Unit for Clinical and Epidemiological Research (USMR) at Bordeaux University Hospital and is affiliated with the Statistics In System Biology and Translational Medicine (SISTM) research team. His work focuses in particular on methodological challenges related to the use of routinely collected data, such as data from hospital data warehouses and French health insurance databases, for research purposes. Within the VBHI Institute, he is the scientific lead of the BrainVasc cohort and contributes to the design and analysis of several research projects.
Thomas is such a big fan of Philippe Etchebest that he bought his cookbook… twice. Yes, he can be a little absent-minded!
