Dr Bastien RIOUX will be speaking as part of the ‘VBHI Conference Series’, a series of conferences connecting vascular brain health experts!

Dr Bastien RIOUX

MD, MSc, FRCPC, neurologist (Canada) and clinical research fellow (clinical brain sciences PhD), Centre for Clinical Brain Sciences, University of Edinburgh, Dr Rioux is a neurologist who graduated from the Université de Montréal and is currently a PhD candidate and clinical research fellow at the University of Edinburgh in the team of Professors William Whiteley and David Hunt. He is interested in the contribution of inflammation to cerebrovascular disease.

Dr Rioux will be speaking at the scientific conference ‘Triangulation of the role of type I interferons in sporadic disease using modern epidemiology’.

In this presentation, he will discuss his recent work in pharmaco-epidemiology and proteomic and genomic analysis on the contribution of type I interferons to cardiovascular and autoimmune disease.
