The 5th edition of Music for the Brain will take place on 07 February 2025 at the Auditorium de l’Opéra National de Bordeaux, as part of the symphony concert by the Orchestre National Bordeaux Aquitaine and with violinist Nicolas Dautricourt, all under the baton of Jean-Claude Casadesus.
Organised by VBHI, this latest philanthropic event aims to raise public awareness of the issues surrounding vascular brain health, while helping to fund cutting-edge research at the institute.
An exceptional event to support research
The 5ᵉ edition of Music for the Brain, organised by VBHI with the support of the Opéra National de Bordeaux, will put music at the service of brain health.
The evening will be conducted by the legendary conductor Jean-Claude Casadesus, who is celebrating his 90th birthday. He will be accompanied by renowned violinist Nicolas Dautricourt, who will perform Edward Elgar’s Violin Concerto on a precious Stradivarius (1713) on loan from Bernard Magrez.
The programme will include emblematic works by Verdi, Elgar and Stravinsky, offering a unique musical experience for the benefit of research. The evening will close with a cocktail reception at the Grand-Théâtre, reserved for supporters of VBHI.
