Valérie holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and has developed a broad, international expertise dedicated to population health. She has contributed to national strategies – including on antibiotic resistance – as well as to health promotion programmes focused on healthy diet and physical activity in Luxembourg.
Her commitment has also taken her into the field, where she has led health promotion initiatives for vulnerable populations: drug users in Kenya, people affected by Lassa fever in Nigeria, and through community health care in the Central African Republic.
Building on these multidisciplinary and intercultural experiences, Valérie is now joining the VBHI Institute to lead the development of the Living Lab. Her goal: to foster cross-sector collaboration and put the participation of those targeted by research and innovation at the heart of public health projects.
Valérie gets around only by bike, never misses a chance to try local food when traveling, and believes enjoying life and respecting the planet go hand in hand.
