Louis CAZADE, PhD candidate in Public Health

Louis is a PhD candidate in Public Health with a specialization in biostatistics, conducting his research within Bordeaux Population Health (BPH). His work focuses on developing statistical methods for analyzing resting-state functional brain connectivity using fMRI data. The objective is to better capture the temporal dynamics of these complex signals in order to identify early alterations related to brain aging and neurovascular diseases.
His research lies at the intersection of statistical modeling, brain imaging, and public health, with the aim of strengthening the clinical relevance of fMRI-derived biomarkers. Within VBHI, he contributes to bridging methodological innovation and clinical challenges to improve early detection and prevention of neurovascular disorders.

He also makes excellent Basque cheesecakes.
