Alexandre MORVAN, Orthoptist at Bordeaux University Hospital

Alexandre is an orthoptist whose professional background combines private practice, clinical work, and hospital-based research. After running his own practice, he now divides his time between ophthalmology pre-consultations and research at Bordeaux University Hospital.
At the VBHI, he performs ophthalmic examinations, particularly retinal vascular imaging, and contributes to the processing of data collected from research participants.

Naturally curious and interested in new technologies, he particularly enjoys discovering innovative equipment and exploring different aspects of his profession. Combining clinical practice with research allows him to continuously expand his knowledge while maintaining what matters most to him : human connection.
His philosophy : why do the same thing ten times when you can spend a little extra time figuring out how to do it just once ?
