Her career has developed at the intersection of biomedical research, project management, and international relations. She holds a master’s degree in biotechnology and a Ph.D. in neuroscience, as well as a degree in management, marketing, and public relations.
Multilingual and internationally oriented, she has worked for two decades at several internationally recognized institutions, including the Helsinki Biotechnology Institute, ETH Zurich, and the World Health Organization in Geneva. In 2016, she joined Professor Stéphanie Debette’s team at the Bordeaux Population Health Center (UMR 1219), University of Bordeaux, where she has contributed to the management of international projects, the operational co-management of the RHU SHIVA project, and the creation of the VBHI.
Creating collaborative scientific environments that foster connections among researchers, students, partners, and the general public is at the heart of her motivation. She aims to put her experience to work for the VBHI by helping to strengthen these connections and promote scientific excellence within an international, open, and people-oriented environment.
A true foodie at heart, Judith is a passionate defender of authentic paella and she never quite forgives the French for adding chorizo to it!
