Agathe ROUSSEAU, Psychologist specialised in neuropsychology

After completing her Master’s in Neuropsychology at the University of Angers in 2023, Agathe chose to specialize in the care of patients with brain injuries. She joined the Adult Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation department at Rennes University Hospital, where she gained solid experience in cognitive rehabilitation and in supporting post-stroke patients. Working in a multidisciplinary team, at the heart of this practice, has deeply shaped her approach to care. Eager to discover the Bordeaux region and to work in an environment combining clinical care and research, she joined the VBHI. She currently work on the neuropsychological evaluation and follow-up of patients from the BrainVasc cohort, aiming to characterize cognitive and emotional profiles in the context of small vessel disease.

Formerly a determined and passionate basketball player, now converted into a supporter (thanks to her “fragile” knees), she makes up for it by trying new activities like painting… where her skills are still very much “experimental”! And yes, she is lucky to be from Mayenne (a small department in the countryside – mostly farmland and nature).
