Eric Jouvent is interested in the cognitive and behavioral consequences of diseases of the small cerebral vessels and their correlates in brain imaging. Before studying medicine, he studied physics and mathematics, and is a computer geek who loves programming, which enables him to take a step back from certain approaches, particularly in the age of massive data. He is the principal investigator of the DHU-LAC multi-center cohort, which recruits patients with suspected ischemic stroke related to small cerebral vessel disease and follows them for 5 years to understand the predictors of their outcome.
Eric Jouvent is an absolute fan of his wife and 2 children, loves ice hockey, which his son plays competitively, and tries to educate his golden retriever.
