Initially, Morgane set her sights on a career in teaching, but it was scientific research that won out. After graduating with a degree in cell biology, she embarked on a master’s degree in neuroscience, driven by a growing passion for neurology and clinical research. She joined Bordeaux University Hospital in 2011 as a clinical research associate, where she explored several neurology departments with a particular enthusiasm for this specialty. She particularly appreciates the human connection that her work affords, especially through direct contact with patients.
Since 2017, she has been part of Stéphanie Debette’s team, in charge of project management such as RHU SHIVA, a research project that aims to understand the determinants and consequences of small cerebral vessel disease.
Committed to ecological and animal causes, she shares her garden with three hens named like princesses. A lover of good beer and metal music, Hellfest is by far her favorite music festival.
